Thursday:

After a good breakfast and packed lunch, we will be set ashore on our first destination, which might be Brensholmen. The cliff is beautifully situated right next to the sea and is ideal for climbing courses. Here we will start up with some climbing on bolted routes before we go through trad equipment, and start practice how to use it. During our day, we will enjoy our lunch in beautiful surroundings. After climbing, a sauna and hot tub are waiting on Vulkana before a three-course dinner. In the evening we talk about experiences from the day, go through some theory and plan the next day.

Friday:

Today, Grøtfjordklumpane in Grøtfjorden can be our climbing crag. Here we will have loads of sun, and with great mountains and glaciers surrounding us. We will also have ocean view from the crag. We will continue to work with trad climbing techniques. Today we will also be introduced to belays and how to climb multi-pitch routes. In the evening aboard the boat we might show some pictures from a climbing trip to Patagonia.

Saturday:

This will be the last day of climbing, and it’s time to get a little higher in the mountains. The goal is to try a multi-pitch route or a ridge traverse with some climbing. A destination which is suitable for practicing, without being too difficult is the Vengsøya traverse. Vengsøya is a beautiful island out in the open sea, with an amazing view! The mountain range on this island is nice to walk from west to east, and it has some climbing along the way.  Alternatively this day may be Zapffeegga at Zapffetoppen up at Hollenderan. This will depend on the group and conditions in the mountains.

If the  weather is nice, we will find a beach and light the barbecue in the evening, during the midnight sun. Alternatively, the jacuzzi and sauna are still warm tonight …
